PROFFESOR JOE TSOTETSI
Professor Tsotesi is the first South
African to
work for Digital Equipment Corp, SA and
represented SA’s ICT Industry at the Global
Information Infrastructure Commisision Conference
in Genevea in 1997.
Further to this, he represented the Bankers
Trust Co at New York Federal Reserve Bankers
meeting on Information Systems to support Bank
Reconciliation.He has worked as the Head of Eskom’s
MRP Systems, taught Computer Prog & business
analysis at Albert Merrill School and lectured in
Computer Science at the University of New York
City where he graduated from, Professor Tsotetsi
is the Chairman of Interim Stats Council, a member of
the Computer Society of SA, having previously served
as the Vice President and is a board member of the
Soweto Technology Project & National Research
Technology Foresight Board.
Professor Tsotetsi
holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of
New York City and majored in Computer Science
and Information Systems cum laude. He also holds a
Master of Science fromt he Institute of Technology
New York, majoring in Computer Science with distinction.
he is currently the Chairman of Motswedi Technology Group.
