Smart Young Mindz
Smart Young Mindz is a Corporate Social Investment Programme of Blue IQ, our education partner, the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), our corporate partner, the DiData Saturday School Programme, our media partner The Sowetan, together with the Sowetan's Aggrey Klaaste Foundation.
It focuses on developing the youth of today, to become tomorrow’s scientists, inventors engineers, entrepreneurs and future leaders in professions that require maths & science as a basis.
A series of programmes and projects has been lined up by the GDE to actually increase the number of engineers in the country and Smart Young Mindz is one such project.
The Gauteng Government needs a strong supply of appropriate human capital, meaning that we require the kind of workers that will help grow us as a ‘smart province’.
